Sutton Hoo Sword
This is a copy of the famous Anglo Saxon sword found in the burial mound at Sutton Hoo, England Circa 635 AD. Complex construction includes eight damascus bars with interrupted twists. Four bars are seen on each side. Twisted sections are juxtaposed to offset strait sections on the other side. Separate pattern welded edge runs continuously around the point. Alloys used: 1095, 1060, 1018, 15N20. (Steel by Joe Caswell)
