Here is a pair of wheellock pistols Circa 1580 a.d. (Germany). I built 12 of these in 1995. They are all metal (bronze) stocked and feature extensive cloisonne enamel and genuine semi-precious set stones. Included are garnet, swiss-blue topaz and peridot. There is also inlaid Mother-of-Pearl. These examples fire reliably using the period-appropriate iron pyrite. The lock and .45 caliber rifled barrel (yes they did use rifling back then) are fire blued.      (Made by Joe Caswell)
